Untuk mengurangkan risiko penularan agen berjangkit, peralatan pelindung diri (PPE) mesti digunakan dengan sewajarnya. Berikut adalah urutan pemakaian PPE:
1. Perform hand hygiene
Basuh tangan atau gunakan dan -sapu tangan berasaskan alkohol.
2. Put on coverall
Langkah ke dalam kaki coverall dan letakkancoverall over the boots. If the coverall is with boots, then you don't need to remove the shoes before step into the legs. Pull the coverall over your arms and shoulders. Pull the hood over, and ensure the hood fits close to the face. Pull the zipper fully up the coverall.
3. Put on mask
Topeng pembedahan atau alat pernafasan penapisan zarah seperti N95, FFP2, KN95 atau setara.
4. Put on eye protection (Goggles, safety glasses or face shield)
Letakkan di atas muka dan mata
Laraskan supaya sesuai
5. Put on gloves
Pasangkan sarung tangan di atas manset memastikan lengan baju dilindungi oleh sarung tangan
CATATAN: JANGAN SENTUH MASK ATAU PELINDUNG MATA SEKALI SEKALI SETELAH PEMERIKSAAN PPE TELAH SELESAI.
